加州大學洛杉磯分校劇場表演博士，現為台灣大學台灣文學研究所教授。研究領域包括：當代劇場、酷兒批判、生態與行星論述。論著發表於TDR/The Drama Review、Asian Theatre Journal、《戲劇研究》、《中外文學》等國內外期刊及各藝術評論雜誌。
Cheng is Professor in the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature at National Taiwan University. She received her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles, in Theater and Performance Studies and has published widely on queer performance and activist theater in Taiwan. In addition to academic journals, she also writes regularly for contemporary art and literary publications such as Unitas Literary, Fountain, and Art Collection +Design.
