HSU Hui-Ju 2017 Taiwan Experimental Documentary b/w & color 30min Taiwanese, Chinese DCP
This story is told through the examples of temporary workers, in an abandoned factory and by the signs on the wall saying “help wanted”, in order to reflect the reality of the working class. They are the “relics” of the modern industrialization process, cast aside to the empty and barren edge of urban cities.

Director

HSU Hui-Ju

Graduated from the Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary and Film Archiving, Tainan National University of the Arts, HSU Hui-Ju, now mother of two, specializes in documentary filmmaking. Her Hard Good Life (2003) won "New Asian Currents" Awards of Excellence at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, Japan. Hard Good Life II(2008) won the Audience Choice Award at Women Make Waves Film Festival.
