    Kiko Goifman Claudia Priscilla 2018 Brazil Documentary color 75min Portuguese DCP
    Tranny Fag is a feature-length documentary picturing a Brazilian transsexual singer called Linn da Quebrada. Coming from a very poor region of São Paulo, she faces many prejudices, also for being black. Her funk music sounds like a "gun" against machismo. With a really strong and daring presence on stage, she constantly seeks to discuss and fight paradigms and stereotypes.

    Kiko Goifman

    Kiko Goifman was trained as an artist and anthropologist. The combination of these disciplines can be seen in his oeuvre, which includes documentaries, installations and new media. His work has been shown in various retrospectives at festivals, and has been awarded several times.

    Claudia Priscilla

    Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1972, she initially worked as a journalist and directed several short films before directing and producing several award-winning documentaries. Her films have been entered Berlin International Film Festival, Locarno Film Festival, among others.
