A woman’s pregnancy is a transformational adventure that is symbolic of the beginning of the world. By comparing the landscape of the female body with imagery of the earth, one can come to appreciate the female form in new ways and discover that its expression is full of in nite possibilities.

LI Nien-Hsiu

She started filming her father's incredible life story, Hebei Taipei, since the year of 2000. Her short film, Rush, a creative combination of experimental film and documentary, was nominated for Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival and Golden Stalk Awards. She also edited many documentaries and drama films including Go Grandriders!, Young at Heart: Grandma Cheerleaders, and Partners In Crime. She was nominated for the 47th Golden Horse Awards for Film Editing for Hip-Hop Storm. She also started her second career as a screenwriter, and worked on the movie Touch of the Light as both a writer and an editor.
