Solitude

CHEN YIN LING 2008 Taiwan Experimental b/w 6min no dialogues Beta
Feeling solitude but not absence of companions, it just the companions were not longer being in this moment.
This movie is talking about the relationship between self- awareness, desire and ego ideal through a man who was dreaming about her anamnesis. She was dreaming and she was also picturing herself by her own. The desolation appeared in the story and on the movie.
By these fragmental frames, the director can search the being and the values of herself. Those memories seem like some scenes of her mind, excerpting from her daily life or the clue of passing.
Aim to express the meaning of being an unique individual. This movie is an extremely honest soliloquy.
