    17-year-old Marek hides out with his disabled father in the mountains, afraid of being conscripted by the army. They survive by poaching animals in the forest until one day they find something unexpected in one of their traps, an unconscious female soldier. They bring her home and a new kind of war begins.

    Marta NOVAKOVA

    Born in 1975, Marta NOVAKOVA studied film at PAMU in Pargue and worked as an aintern at VGIK in Moscow. She is currently completing her major in Russian sturdies at Charles University. Her short films include I Want to Sleep (1996), The Best Reader in the World(2000) and In the Night(2001).
