    As a successfully working probation officer, Elsa Seifert (Maren Kroymann) is totally absorbed by her duties. She is living with Raimar (Markus Völlenklee), father of her daughter Daniela. Triggered by her daughter’s moving away Elsa’s daily routine is disrupted. She no longer believes in habits that have been fine for decades. Instead she opens up toward everything that promises a new intensity in life.

    When Elsa is assigned as probation officer of sixteen-years-old criminal Jan (Kostja Ullmann), she is confronted by his overt offers to sexually subjugate himself to her. Overwhelmed, she cannot resist entering into a risky relationship with Jan. Celebrating and staging their desires, Jan and Elsa create their own sexual cosmos. Step by step her life is slipping out of control….

    Angelina MACCARONE

    Angelina Maccarone was born in Cologne in 1965 and studied German and American Literature and Film at the University of Hamburg. She made her directorial debut in 1994 with the coming-out comedy Kommt Mausi Raus? Hounded (Verfolgt, 2006) won the Filmmakers of the Present: Golden Leopard at Locarno in 2006.
