    Hui-Mei CHEN CHEN Yi-Yu 2013 Taiwan Documentary color 94min Mandarin, Taiwanese DCP
    This is a documentary as well as a drama film, a recreation of Snow White Entertaining Troupe's lavish adventure, a documentary of Taiwan's first large scale cross-dress singing and dancing show that records the real and honest lives of the performers intertwined with the luxurious fantasy of stage performances.

    Director

    Hui-Mei CHEN

    CHEN was born in Tainan, Taiwan. She received her B.A. at Department of Mass Communication, TKU in 2002, and M.A. at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now, she works as a producer for Dandelion Production, and focuses on documentary production.

    CHEN Yi-Yu

    Graduated from Shih Hsin University, she participated in various TV and film productions for 15 years. Stage, TV, and film performances helped improve her understanding of directorship.
