Martine and Arnaud are two French citizens. Arnaud is 28 year-old engineer, married with two children. He loves living in the mountains, in a small village in France. Martine is 66 years old. A retired sociologist, she lives in a big house in Grenoble, in which she rents out rooms. Due to a past disease, she is partially handicapped.

Martine and Arnaud have never met. They were interviewed with the desire to make an animated documentary on themes as wide as citizenship, politics and political commitment. They speak to the filmmakers about their past, daily life and their social commitment.

Cècile Rousset

Cècile Rousset graduated from the National Higher School of Decorative Arts of Paris in 1999. She specializes in the cinema of animation. Her first film “Paul” was selected by the International Festival of Clermont-Ferrand and 40 other festivals, and was directed during her last year of studies. After a master in visual and media arts with the UQAM (University from Quebec in Montreal), Jeanne Paturle specializes in animation with the ENSAD. She realized Les Yeux Fermés (selected with the International Festival of Clermont-Ferrand in 2005) and meet Cécile Rousset, with whom she directed ONE VOICE ONE VOTE (Je suis une voix)
