Mamta MURTHY 2012 India Documentary color 90min Meiteilon, English DigiBeta
The film is a journey with a Manipuri feature film unit through the landscape of picturesque hills and narrative traditions. Set in Manipur, a conflict region on the remote India-Burma border, this film journeys across a century to paint a portrait of cinema and its citizens. This film spotlights a sub culture of Indian cinema that
flourishes even in a highly militarized zone. Creating a collage of multiple narratives, it brings the audience through their cinema.
