My Father's Emails

The director's father, who has been suffering from alcoholic depression and is not familiar with computer, sends 43 e-mails to his daughter over the period of one year; and dies three days after his last e-mail. The 43 e-mails are a regretful autobiography of the director's father, as well as a letter for forgiveness and
reconciliation with his family members with whom he had not really had conversations. It has his whole life through many notable events such as wars, 88's Seoul Olympic, etc. This documentary serves as a portrait of a generation in modern history It may be a belated reply, but it surely became the much needed messenger.

She graduated from the Korean National University of Arts, majoring in Film, TV and Multimedia. Her short film Lioness(es) was slected in 2008 Women Make Waves Film Festival, Taiwan.
