    Ching-Ju TSAI 2009 Taiwan Documentary color 34min Mandarin, Taiwanese Beta
    Jau-Jiun HSIAO, chair of Taiwan Gender Equity Education Association, challenged the 100-year tradition of her big Hsiao family. With great efforts, she became the first woman to preside over the ancestor worship ceremony, thus rewrite the tradition which only gives males the privilege to worship and to receive the blessings.

    Ching-Ju TSAI

    Born in 1970, a Kaohsiung citizen. In love with Documentaries, immersed in the happiness of watching the world through the lens for decades. In addition to filming, she also plans to organize multi-session documentary teaching courses and documentary screening activities.
