    Lifang LIN 2009 Taiwan Documentary color 36min Mandarin, Taiwanese Beta
    Chiu-Ju LEE was born on a farm and had a twin sister. Her sister was given away for adoption, a fate she narrowly escaped. She tells her thoughts and feelings of growing up. These stories offer a glimpse of the struggles shared by Taiwanese women and mothers throughout the 50’s.

    Lin graduated from CTI College in Photography in France in 1993, and also the National Taiwan University of Arts Graduate School of Applied Media Arts in 2002. In 1999 she began documenting the life and work of Tibetan Buddhist Monks in India. She was awarded Taiwan's Golden Tripod Award and the Johnny Walker’s Keep Walking Prize.
