    Hui-Ju HSU 2008 Taiwan Documentary color 75min Mandarin, Taiwanese Beta
    Director of Hard Good Life presents her latest heart touching work. From the second she learned how to hold a camera, she gazed at her father through the lens all the time. This film is a memory collection, after her father got cancer, they went through all kinds of treatment together, lose or gain, hope or sorrow. This unbreakable connection supported them to the very last moment and never faded away.

    Hui-Ju HSU

    Hui-Ju HSU was born in Kaohsiung in 1975. In 2001, her rst lm Butter-Fly awarded by S-An Culture Foundation as The Best Creative Documentary. Since then, her second lm Hard Good Life won New Asian Currents Awards of Excellence at Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival in 2003. In 2005, her third lm Inside was invited to South Taiwan Film &Video Festival. Her latest lm Hard Good Life 2 was awarded by Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival as Special Jury Prize and was also nominated by Visions du Reel Festival international de cinema.
