Because of the scattered settlements and harsh Arctic weather, the children were sent to boarding school already as a seven yearolds. Many of them never lived with their parents. Life in boarding school can be, for many people, an unpleasant experience. Yet, there are also beautiful moments to be remembered. Today, many dormitories are decaying. Solvang boarding school is a colossus, a stain on the world's most beautiful and purest nature. We want to keep memories from a time alive, as the weather and storms are working hard to
destroy them.
