Korean adoptee Jenny works at a hip New York café while dreaming of a career as a photographer. Alone in the city after cutting ties with her adopted family following an incestuous moment with stepbrother Joe,
she moves in with new roommates and begins to explore her ethnic identity and romance... until Joe reappears.

Joy DIETRICH

Korean-born American filmmaker Joy DIETRICH started her professional career in journalism before moving to New York City to teach herself filmmaking. She directed two short films, autobiographical Surplus(2001) and experimental science fiction film Robot Girl(2002), before making her feature debut with Tie a Yellow Ribbon.
