    Mi-ja's Beauty Parlor

    Mi-ja has lost her Seoul hair salon to money lenders. She takes over a hair salon in the countryside, but is lonely in the sticks without her usual customers. Her life changes when she meets paraplegic Eun-joo. Eun-joo doesn't open up easily, but Mi-ja’s infectiously positive nature soon overcomes her initial reticence.

    Still a student, Lee Yoon-young in majoring in Film at Sangmyung University. Her short films include Stepping Stones(2007) and Mi-ja's Beauty Parlor(2007). Parlor won the People's Choice Award in the Asian Short Film&Video Competition of this year's International Women's Film Festival in Seoul.
