    KIM Hee-jung 2007 Korea Fiction color 94min Korean
    After her father’s death, shy 13-year-old Soo-ah lives alone with a mother who is too busy running her diner to care of her adolescent daughter. Soo-ah, however, believes that her real mother is a popular singer. After a big fight, Soo-ah runs away to Seoul to attend her real mother’s concert.

    KIM Hee-jung

    Born in 1970, KIM Hee-jung studied Playwriting at Seoul Institute of the Arts and filmmaking at the Polish National Film School. Her short films include Portrait of the Father(1999) and The Appointment(2000). In 2001 her short Once... Someday was awarded the top prize in the Pusan International Film Festival's Wide Angel section.
