The title refers to three “female-to-male” men. Ko has been taking hormones for 8 years in the belief that he must become completely “masculine” to be accepted; Han has her breasts removed as part of a process of becoming
“ungendered”; while Kim finds that his new male legal identity only opens up new confusions.

KIM Il-rhan

Born in Seoul in 1972, KIM Il-rhan graduated in film theory from Chungang University. She works at Pinks:Collective for Sexually Minor Cultures. She made her directorial debut with documentary Mamasang:Remember Me This Way(2005) which explored the sex industry that developed around US military bases.
