    After her mother died, the youngest daughter has been dreaming about her dead mother for nights. In the dreams, her mother expresses her will not to be buried next to her dead husband. On the seventh night after the mother’s death, the hidden past of the family was finally revealed.

    CHOU She-Wei

    A Taiwanese screenwriter and director, born in 1960, graduated from the Department of history at National Taiwan University and Film/TV graduate department at NYU. She worked on several feature film productions, including Ang LEE’s Pushing Hand as assistant director. Her work With or Without You was selected in the Rotterdam IFF and won the first prize of Asian Shorts Competition in the SIWFF. Her first feature The Golden Child was nominated for Best Feature in the 2012 Taipei IFF.
