    Animation about a girl whose heart beats too quickly. It is so loud that people around her have trouble sleeping. Friends and family become accustomed to the abnormality and stop enquiring about her well-being. Whether she lives or dies or ies away like a bird, it’s as if nobody would care. What is a happy ending?

    Regina PESSOA

    Regina PESSOA was born in Coimbra in Portugal in 1969. Her first short film, The Night(1999) received numerous awards. Tragic Story with Happy Ending is her second work, produced at the French animation studio Folimage while she was an artist-in-residence.
