    Girls Who Fell in Love with Math

    Weitsy WANG Yng-Jaw JIING 2017 Taiwan Documentary color 75min Chinese DCP
    The film is about two girls grew up together in the 60s of Taiwan, the story of their dream of pursuing math. Both Alice Zhang and Fan-Chung Graham is the Academician of the Central Academy of Taiwan. The film also stated that gender should not be the restriction of studying math, but that women's unique delicate and quiet qualities may surely the advantage of studying math.

    Weitsy WANG

    WANG is the associate professor in Dept. Mass Communication in Tamkang University and executive supervisor of Taiwan Women´s Film Association. She has published several works about documentaries.

    Yng-Jaw JIING

    Weitsy WANG's husband. JIING has been making documentaries together with Weitsy WANG for decades. Born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1957, JIING graduated from Department of Chinese Literature at NCCU in 1980 and completed MFA degree at UCLA in 1987.
