    Ching-Ya WANG 2009 Taiwan、USA Fiction color 5min English, Mandarin Beta
    Laura sneaks into her mother’s room to try on make-up. Laura hears some noises outside and hides in a closet. She opens the door to discover her mother in bed painfully groaning with her breasts exposed. She soon learns her mother is pregnant. This day, Laura realizes the meaning of being a woman.

    Ching-Ya WANG

    Ching-Ya WANG was born in Taipei in 1982. She studied Political Science at National Taiwan University. She was active in the university’s drama club and made her theater directing debut in 2004. In 2006, she attended a lmmaking class in Taiwan Film Arts Institute. She has studied in the Film Directing Program at the California Institute of Arts since 2007.
