A girl walks into the paintings of Van Gogh. There, she falls in love, watching time and seasons passing by, waiting for her man. With the shots zooming in and out, the piano and violins beautifully playing in the background, the colors and shapes change smoothly. The film was selected by several international animation festivals, including the famous Festival International du Film d'Animation d'Annecy and International Animation Festival Hiroshima.

Julia KOWALSKI

Born in France in 1979 to Polish parents, Julia KOWALSKI embarked on a quest for her identity through directing her first documentary, which took her back to her roots. Since then she has continued to explore her preferred themes: the working-class environment, Poland, adolescence, family, and sexuality. Raging Rose is her first feature-length movie, and it won the Sopadin Award for Best Screenplay in 2014.
