
Alejandra SÁNCHEZ was born in 1973 in Chihuahua, México. She studied Communication Science at the Autonomous University of Mexico. She also graduated from the University Center for Cinematographic Studies. She directed and produced the feature length documentary Bajo Juárez: The City Devouring Its Daughters, which earned several national and international recognitions as Best Documentary. She is the creator and director of the scientific and health TV sitcom Gregoria the Cockroah, for channel 22. She also works in the creation and development for audiovisual projects at The Image Research and Production Center for Mexico City’s Autonomous University.
