This short documentary is about a young female dancer Kei ISHIKAWA, who finally holds a one-person show with her own direction after joining in the Butoh team “Tenku-Yoran” and learning under the dance master Daisuke YOSHIMOTO. She had learnt classic ballet in the Ballet Academy since her adolescence, until she met YOSHIMOTO’s Butoh with a strong impact. She decided to become Butoh dancer and be free from strict rules of classic ballet, while she faces many problems.

Yu YAMANOI

Yu YAMANOI was born in Chiba, Japan in 1988. By living in Central Eastern Europe, YAMANOI started to take an interest in performing arts and film. She studied documentary filmmaking at Keio University.

Kana YAMAGUCHI

Kana YAMAGUCHI was born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1987. Grown up with film and theater, YAMAGUCHI began to be interested in filmmaking. She studied documentary filmmaking at Keio University.
