A Taiwanese writer-director, she received a Master's Degree in Film from Paris 8 University. She has worked as a film journalist as well as in film marketing companies. Later she went on to become a published novelist and focused on writing. Her screenplay Return Ticket has won the Best Original Screenplay of the 2011 Golden Horse Award. My Mandala is her debut film.
