    Two Girls Against the Rain is the first locally produced documentary in Cambodia, which gives a voice to members of the lesbian community. A true story about Soth Yun and Sem Eang who met and fell in love during the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime. Today they live together and there has been a long fight against stigmatization by fellow villagers and their family. And the fight continues—now for the right to marry legally.

    Sopheak SAO

    She Studied film at Media Education and Training Academy Phnom Penh. Her documentaries have been screened at numerous international festivals in Asia and Europe. Currently she is developing the script for the first feature-lengthdocumentary about Cambodia's LGBT scene.
