    Who's Afraid of Vagina Wolf?

    The day after her 40th birthday, Anna comes to the conclusion that it's time to stop her miserable life. She lives in her friend's back yard; her career as a filmmaker isn't paying her bills and worst of all it's been ten years since she's had a girlfriend. Borrowing a storyline from her favorite Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Anna
    devises a plan to make a film and win over her leading actress:Katia. However, nothing goes as Anna's plans. First of all, there is no money. Second, she will have to give up her role opposite Katia if she wants the much-desired Penelope to even consider taking the roll.Third, her Cuban mother has never been thrilled about her making lesbian films, let alone, her being lesbian. At the same time, Julia,
    the cinematographer supports Anna through it all, compelled by her own romantic feelings for Anna. But she just doesn't see it...Will she succeed with all the upcoming obstacles? Will 40 be Anna's heaven or hell?

    Cuban-American, Anna Magarita ALBELO is a globe-trotting artist, filmmaker, journalist and cultural activist. Anna's work encompasses narrative, documentary and experimental film creating a trademark style all her own. She's been a regular collaborator for Canal Plus France.
