14-year-old Jenny attends Secondary School in the suburbs of Oslo. She is lonely and unhappy. She observes the game of boys and girls as an outsider, gazing the nearly animal-like merry-go-round that she never gets chance to be part of it. Not least she yearns for Adam. Adam nearly notices her, but Jenny is forced into a voyeuristic position. But one evening she sees something not meant for her eyes. And the balance of power between them is realigned.
