Charlotte SILVERA 2010 France Fiction color 80min French Digi Beta
Armed with a bouquet of flowers and a large smile, four twelve graders ring the bell of Alice’s home, their highschool headmaster. They go to her place to wish her happy birthday. She now lives with her mother who presently is in the hospital. Alice is surprised but moved by such kindness and invites the teenagers to have a drink. Once the door has closed behind them, a terrible night will unfold...
What do these charming kids have in their minds behind the blessing? Do they challenge Alice’s figure as an authority? Are they going to exert their power, which they believe in but cannot be contested, to reach their goal? Throughout the night they reveal all the cheating they did during their time in that school, thus showing their true colors, until this final exam, the baccalaureat that they risk to fail. These
“new barbarians” came with a blackmail, and their headmaster need to face an insidous violence.
