    Anxious about visiting her ailing mother, Jade forces her family to stall the road trip by checking into a roadside motel, but the decrepit corridors and bleak rooms do little to settle her. Arresting performances, stunning cinematography and a haunting soundtrack entwine in this lyrical portrayal of one woman’s interior journey.

    Annick BLANC graduated from Film Production at Concordia University in 2004. Since then she has been working as a director and producer led by a passion for strong visual and experimental storytelling. Her short film Nowhere Elsewhere won best live action short at the Palm Spring International Short Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the CFC Worlwide Short Film Festival.
