Ji-wan lives with her teenager son, Si-young and her husband, Sang-woo. She quits her job as a school teacher and starts working on a script to become a film director. She has worked on her script for many years but making it into a film seems almost impossible. Overwhelming by the pressure, she has fallen into the abyss of depression. Ji-wan feels that the house is overflowing with ants that crawl all over her computer keyboard. In a new film company, she starts to write a script about music bands and she goes to Rock Music Festival for an interview. There she encounters a fantastic rainbow scene in the empty stage, and picks up an abandoned
music score. She is stimulated by the vitality of the band as she covers the members and is newly energizing by her participation as an extra in her friend’s movie. Although her script is never made into a film, her son playing a guitar in a school band extracts a part of her script and turns it into a song called Passerby #3.
