    The film tells four unusual stories from the West Bank, featuring women who work in male-dominated jobs. All four have the courage to break traditional rules, but not without challenges.
    We dip into the life of a wedding filmmaker, who films women-only weddings in the most conservative part of the West Bank; we hear the stories of a female taxi driver who works in the Israeli parts of Jerusalem; we discover a young, dreamy police trainee at the national police academy and learn about the hardships in occupied Nablus from a mother who takes on male roles to keep her family business going.

    Paulina TERVO is a London-based documentary lmmaker of Finnish origin. Recently her work has focused on development, human rights and women’s empowerment topics. She is particularly interested in making lms that portray positive stories from the developing world and con ict areas, going beyond news images of suffering and victims. She also teaches lmmaking practice and leads participatory video workshops for marginalized communities.
