    Alisha never feels alive in her big cold house until she hears Bari’s whistling. He introduces her to love. Alisha’s pursuit of love brings her to a block of flats where she moves in to a room besides Bari, who lives with his long-time girlfriend Renta. Her old boring days now are filled with laughter, love, and fights she overhears from next door. She tries all kinds of ways to get close to Bari, deceiving, manipulating then killing. This is the story about the dark side of love, of an obsession, of a dream.

    SURYA has been regarded as one of the most promising female filmmakers in Indonesia. Her debut film, Fiksi., won numerous awards including: Best Director at JIFFEST 2008, Special Mention at Jogja Netpac Asian Film Festival 2008 as well as Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Scoring and Best Original Screenplay at Film Festival Indonesia 2008. Fiksi. was internationally premiered at the 13th Busan International Film Festival 2008, South Korea.
