    Ann, a teenage girl, who lives with her little brother and grandmother together in a military dependents' village. Her father, Guo, has no stable job and is seldom at home, so Ann has to work and take care of this family. But this time, with Chinese New Year approaching, Guo came ones home with lots of fireworks and looks forward to making a big fortune by selling them...

    CHEN Ting-Ning

    CHEN was born in Taipei Taiwan in 1990. The film Winter, Fireworks and my Father, is her graduate project from National University of Art. Most of her short films are about family and teenagers that are based on her own life stories.
