This film examines the physical and mental fatigue of a wife whose daily routine is to take care of her paralyzed husband. She gradually feels imprisoned by this task and becomes lifeless and indifferent. After sending her husband to bed, she usually eats dinner alone, accompanied by some alcohol. When she thinks of her husband's past love affair and binge drinking habit, she falls deeper into a slump
of depression and self-pity.
