    Akemi is a single woman in her 50s who has worked as a milk delivery person for over 30 years. Akemi becomes deeply frustrated by the gender discrimination she has endured after the conversation with younger colleagues. Realizing the situation hasn’t changed, she attempts to challenge it on her own.

    A Japan-based film producer and director. She leads a visual production team called Arrdep. In 2009, she directed a documentary film Sanlibutan. Her directorial works includes About the Beginning of My Journey (2022) and Creating the Imaginary (2023).
