What begins as a personal experiment with testosterone gradually evolves into a profound exploration of identity, embodiment, and the politics of gender. Filmed over ten years, The Way You See Me follows the filmmaker's journey as shifting relationships, voice, body, and assumptions about masculinity and femininity. Set against Mexico's conservative upper-middle-class society, the film reveals how gender norms are not only imposed from above but also reinforced through our everyday relationships, exposing the intimate workings of power, class, and resistance.
