Since 1990, filmmaker Lynne Sachs has kept hundreds of business cards—small souvenirs of brief encounters with strangers, friends, and mentors. She transforms this personal archive into a poetic investigation of how people leave invisible marks on one another. Inspired by the forensic principle that every contact leaves a trace, Sachs follows the stories behind these names, revisiting encounters with a therapist, an artist, and others who have shaped her life. Blending documentary, personal essay, and experimental imagery, the film becomes a playful and moving meditation on memory, identity, and human connection.
