Breath

Narges ABYAR 2016 Iran Fiction color 110min Iranian DCP
Breath is about the daily life of a daydreaming little girl, Bahar, and her persistent efforts to discover the world with all its sweetness and bitterness. Bahar loves to read, it enables her to tolerate the hardships of life. In her imagination, the folk stories blend with real events. Even though the two pivotal events in Iran's history, the war and the revolution, are marginal in Bahar's imaginative world, the war forces its reality into Bahar's unruly imagination.
