    At the remarkable age of 92, Coby YEE, a former starlet and owner of the illustrious Forbidden City Nightclub, reclaimed her place in the spotlight with senior dance troupe Grant Avenue Follies. Led by Cynthia YEE, the ensemble revives the vibrant nightclub era of San Francisco's Chinatown, while simultaneously shattering the conventional images of aging Asian women. The film stands as a poignant chronicle of Coby's final journey before her passing at 93, preserving her indomitable spirit.

    A visual artist and filmmaker working across documentary film, photography, installation, and performance. Recipient of the 2023 BAZAAR Art and BVLGARI Avrora Awards. Her debut feature Chinatown Cha-Cha screened at HIFF, PYIFF, and had a wide release.
