    Sally! traces the life of Sally GEARHART, a lesbian-feminist, activist, professor, and fantasy author. A pioneer of 1970s and '80s U.S. lesbian feminist movements, she remains a hidden figure in history. The documentary recounts her accomplishments, and examines her contradictions, and explores her complex relationships to fellow feminists and the movements they were part of. The film is a celebration of a radical icon, a contemplation on the revolutionary movements. It reflects on her legacy in the context of today’s ongoing struggles for civil rights, justice, and equality.
