    After over a decade away, Farah returns to Tripoli, Lebanon, to care for her aging widowed father, Mustapha, only to find the city in turmoil. Their generational divide clouds their conversations, yet humor and a deep yearning for connection persist. Mustapha finds solace in a weekly all-male poetry club, where men share classical Arabic verses over sweets. Hoping to reach him, Farah joins the group and speaks to him in poetry.     A Lebanese filmmaker and editor. She completed a master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking at DocNomads and is currently doing PhD research in the Arts at KU Leuven and LUCA School of Arts in Belgium. We Are Inside is her debut feature.
