    Iman claims to have had a sexual experience and fakes a pregnancy. Trapped in her own lies, she ends up at the center of a storm. The Balkan region is in a period of transition between tradition and modernity, where dichotomies and separatism between old and new ideas are forcing adolescents to grow up as victims of polarization. Inspired by the real-life event, the film combines cinematic drama with realism.

    Una GUNJAK

    Born in Sarajevo, she now lives and works in London. GUNJAK received her Master's degree in Editing from NFTS. She currently focuses on scriptwriting and directing. Her short film, Salamat From Germany premiered at Director's Fortnight in Cannes. Excursion is her debut feature film.
