    Different styles of dining can also be portrayed as different types of life. Restaurant hostess, Fen-Fang, prepares a feast for the new opening of her restaurant. Deep in her heart, however, she also experiences her most bitter moment. Her family is shattered when she hears news of her husband's affair. Considering marriage as her forever refuge, Fen-Fang never expects to face such crisis. This urban implication of the multiple aspects of life, people with prestige and beauty, hidden struggles and temptation, are all portrayed through dining.

    HUANG Yu-Shan

    Born in 1954, HUANG is a noted filmmaker from Penghu, Taiwan. Known for her commitment to women's issues, HUANG has been involved in fiction and documentary filmmaking, teaching and curating. Currently served as Dean of the College of Communication, Hsuan Chuang University.
