    Misa, a Hakka from Miaoli, quitted university in her sophomore year and had strained the relationship with her father. She was busily engaged in the theater and street performance, viewed as informal employment by most parents. After writing the Hakka song, The River, she decided to involve herself in creating music.

    While studying at the department of Taiwanese Literature at the NCKU, WONG decided to make documentaries. Later she graduated from the Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary & Film Archiving, TNNUA.
