An exciting dance to the music of time, the rhythm of changes. While the music evolves from java, tango, rock and roll and break dance, the celebrities of movies, politics, religion and art, pass by:the pope, Liza Minelli, Tarzan, Joan of Arc and Vincent van Gogh. The partners slowly drift away from each other, only held together by the music that keeps everything in motion.

Monique Renault

Monique Renault is an independent maker of animation films. Her technique is most notably coloured pencil applied directly to paper. She started out making films with social themes (feminism, anti-religion and anti-militarist) mixed with humour. In later work she focussed on cultural themes like dance and quotations of celebrities, cultural periods and genres. The humour remained. Her films are shown on screens all over the world.
