    Isabell ŠUBA made it—or so she thinks! One of her short films is screening at the world's largest film festival. But instead of red carpet and caviar, her chauvinistic producer and an overbooked hotel await her in Cannes. In a partnership of convenience, the two are trying to find investors for a new project, unfortunately to no avail. Isabell looks reality straight in the eye: even in Cannes, there is no exception to the rule—men show films & women their breasts.

    ŠUBA completed her MA degree at HFF with her female soldier-action film project But now Ballet! . Her films have been shown around the world at Cannes, Berlinale and MoMA. After she did a research on examining the roles of women in film industry, she founded a network for women called "The Girls Gang" to connect women from theatre, film and the art world in order to share knowledge and contacts.
