    Alice Harvey, a junior book editor, is unexpectedly asked to manage the re-release of a bestselling novel based on incidents in her own life. The novel's author re-enters her life and opens a door to painful memories from the past. Alternating between past and present, Alice starts to find her own voice, trust herself once again and re-engage with life and love , becoming the writer she always longs to be.

    Marya COHN is the award winning writer/director of The Girl in the Book. Her short film, Developing, won grand prizes at the Belgian Festival Mondial du Cinéma de Court Métrage and the Message to Man Film Festival in St. Petersburg. She has also directed plays at theaters.
